Clinical Professor and Program Director

Responsibilities

• Provide effective leadership and overall management of the Physician Assistant Program
• Oversee curriculum design, coordination, and continuous evaluation for both didactic and clinical components
• Manage program accreditation activities, ensuring adherence to all ARC-PA standards and policies
• Supervise faculty, the medical director, and administrative support staff
• Manage the program budget and fiscal operations
• Chair the Admissions Committee and facilitate the applicant selection process
• Develop and monitor clinical rotation sites and maintain relationships with the regional medical community
• Teach and instruct courses based on clinical expertise and provide academic counseling to students

Requirements

• Current or emeritus NCCPA certification as a Physician Assistant
• Master's degree in a field related to physician assistant practice or education (Doctorate preferred)
• Valid PA licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of Washington
• Minimum of three years of full-time higher education experience
• In-depth knowledge of ARC-PA accreditation standards and the self-study process
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with computer technology and educational databases
