Clinical Procurement Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle for clinical (80%) and associated (20%) categories.
• Develop and execute category strategies to drive value generation, cost savings, and risk mitigation.
• Lead cross-functional teams through demand gathering, sourcing, negotiations, and contracting.
• Conduct regional sourcing and commercial negotiations to secure favorable terms in accordance with company standards.
• Foster strategic supplier relationships and manage the full supplier lifecycle, including governance and performance management.
• Analyze procurement data and market trends to drive data-driven decision-making.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring milestones are met and stakeholders are kept informed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemicals, BioPharma, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 6+ years of clinical or associated sourcing experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Deep knowledge of key clinical categories including CRO, Central Lab, Depot, and SMO.
• Proficiency with procurement and analytics technologies such as SAP Ariba, S/4 HANA, Coupa, or Power BI.
• Strong expertise in international tendering, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) modeling, and Should-Cost analysis.
• Fluency in English with the ability to conduct complex international business negotiations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional procurement certifications such as CIPS or CPSM.
• MBA degree.
• Additional experience in indirect procurement.
