About the role

Responsibilities

  • Assist with ARC-PA accreditation preparation, including curriculum mapping, syllabi development, and assessment documentation.
  • Collaborate with the Program Director and Medical Director to develop, implement, and revise didactic and clinical curriculum content.
  • Deliver high-quality instruction using classroom, laboratory, simulation, case-based, and small-group learning formats.
  • Develop and evaluate student assessments, including written exams, practical exams, OSCEs, and clinical reasoning activities.
  • Provide academic advising, mentoring, and remediation to support student success and professional development.
  • Participate in admissions, student selection, and orientation activities.
  • Support the development of supervised clinical practice experiences (SCPE) across various medical disciplines.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or higher.
  • NCCPA certification or emeritus status.
  • Current PA licensure or eligibility for licensure.
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as a Physician Associate.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Graduate of an ARC-PA-accredited Physician Associate/Physician Assistant program.
  • Prior teaching experience in PA education or health professions education.
  • Experience with curriculum development, course coordination, and student assessment.
  • Experience with ARC-PA accreditation standards, processes, or documentation.
  • Clinical expertise in areas such as internal medicine, family medicine, emergency medicine, surgery, or pediatrics.
