About the role

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day operations of the Heart and Vascular ambulatory physician practice, including staff scheduling and daily assignments.
Oversee patient care activities, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care and efficient patient throughput.
Handle administrative duties such as recruitment, hiring, supervision, purchasing, and inventory management.
Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies including JCAHO, IDPH, and CAP/CLIA.
Monitor performance metrics, daily reports, and operating budgets for labor and non-labor expenses.
Collaborate with physicians and medical directors on quality assurance, research, and clinical treatment plans.
Promote a culture of safety, professional growth, and continuous clinical competence among staff.

Requirements

Previous nursing leadership experience.
Demonstrated clinical leadership skills and ability to serve as a role model.
Proficiency with computer systems, specifically familiarity with Epic.
Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently.
Experience working effectively with physician leaders in an academic medical center environment.
Proven ability to use data to drive performance improvement and manage complex organizational units.
