About the role
Responsibilities
- Foster and maintain positive relations with stakeholders to support clinical placement activities
- Coordinate clinical placement schedules and review student learning outcomes
- Recruit and maintain relationships with existing practicum sites
- Manage placement agreements and ensure all required documentation is submitted per policy
- Coordinate learner logistics, including housing and transportation, in collaboration with regional partners
- Maintain a database of clinical placement sites across hospitals, health care units, and family health teams
- Document and maintain curriculum maps and coordinate necessary space and equipment for programming
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or an acceptable combination of equivalent experience
- Minimum four years of experience coordinating clinical placement programs, preferably in a university or hospital setting
- Strong knowledge of clinical placement policies and processes
- Demonstrated experience coordinating rotation schedules and timetables
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite and student information systems
- Experience with learner management systems, survey tools, and video conference platforms
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team under pressure to meet deadlines
