About the role

Responsibilities

  • Foster and maintain positive relations with stakeholders to support clinical placement activities
  • Coordinate clinical placement schedules and review student learning outcomes
  • Recruit and maintain relationships with existing practicum sites
  • Manage placement agreements and ensure all required documentation is submitted per policy
  • Coordinate learner logistics, including housing and transportation, in collaboration with regional partners
  • Maintain a database of clinical placement sites across hospitals, health care units, and family health teams
  • Document and maintain curriculum maps and coordinate necessary space and equipment for programming

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or an acceptable combination of equivalent experience
  • Minimum four years of experience coordinating clinical placement programs, preferably in a university or hospital setting
  • Strong knowledge of clinical placement policies and processes
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating rotation schedules and timetables
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite and student information systems
  • Experience with learner management systems, survey tools, and video conference platforms
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team under pressure to meet deadlines
