Clinical Placement Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Coordinate clinical operations and student placements for undergraduate and graduate nursing programs
• Manage and administer the clinical placement database and other web-based software programs
• Maintain a comprehensive communication infrastructure for clinical courses, faculty, and students
• Facilitate the initiation and renewal of clinical contracts and manage contract files
• Secure and maintain documentation for student clinical clearance and background checks
• Prepare and disseminate student and preceptor evaluations and summary reports
• Assist in developing orientation and recognition programs for part-time faculty and preceptors

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (experience in a healthcare-related field preferred)
• 2-3 years of administrative experience in nursing education or a healthcare agency
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access
• Experience working with databases and multiple computer applications
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with editing experience
• Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple simultaneous tasks
