About the role

Responsibilities

  • Deliver specialist psychological assessments for individuals referred to the service, tailoring your approach to their unique needs
  • Provide evidence-based interventions including ACT, CFT and CBT to support patients, carers and families
  • Work collaboratively with MDT colleagues
  • Offer consultation and reflective support to staff managing complex emotional presentations
  • Maintain high-quality clinical records in line with professional standards

Requirements

  • HCPC registration as a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist
  • Experience within palliative care, oncology, health psychology, or adult mental health is highly valued
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within MDT environments
