About the role
Responsibilities
- Deliver specialist psychological assessments for individuals referred to the service, tailoring your approach to their unique needs
- Provide evidence-based interventions including ACT, CFT and CBT to support patients, carers and families
- Work collaboratively with MDT colleagues
- Offer consultation and reflective support to staff managing complex emotional presentations
- Maintain high-quality clinical records in line with professional standards
Requirements
- HCPC registration as a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist
- Experience within palliative care, oncology, health psychology, or adult mental health is highly valued
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within MDT environments
