About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide specialist psychological assessments and interventions for individuals, couples, families, and groups affected by cancer
- Lead psychological thinking and governance within the centre team
- Contribute to the integrated programme of cancer support and psychosocial research
- Supervise and support staff in delivering psychologically informed care
- Record and report clinical activity in line with professional standards
Requirements
- HCPC registered as Practitioner Psychologist
- Experience working with adults facing health-related psychological challenges
- Competent in more than one evidence-based therapeutic modality relevant to cancer care
- Confident in psychological assessment and treatment planning
