Clinical Operations Director RN, Hospice

Responsibilities

• Supervise all direct patient and family care team members, including nurses, supportive care staff, home health aides, and counselors.
• Oversee clinical operations, including scheduling, payroll, and other administrative duties in collaboration with site leadership.
• Ensure all initial assessments and required reassessments are conducted by qualified team members within required time frames.
• Guarantee that all patient and family services comply with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements and professional standards.
• Monitor expenses related to patient and family services to ensure budgetary compliance.
• Serve as a resource person and liaison for the Social Worker, Volunteer, Music Therapy, and Bereavement departments.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
• Bachelor's degree or commensurate professional work experience.
• Proven managerial experience with supervisory duties.
• Ability to travel up to 80% of business days within the supported territory.
• Must be a licensed driver capable of traveling to all business locations.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in home-based care.
• Comprehensive knowledge of clinical theories, concepts, and practices in complex or unprecedented situations.
