Clinical Onboarding Specialist

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, assess, and support student clinical placement needs, including assignments and onboarding processes.
• Act as a primary liaison between the School of Nursing, the Clinical Placement Consortium, and healthcare agencies.
• Facilitate agency orientations and manage clinical placement rosters.
• Coordinate and arrange student badging and EHR access.
• Monitor and ensure student compliance with clinical agency, university, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate and current student and faculty clinical placement records and documentation.
• Collect, organize, and report clinical placement and onboarding data.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of relevant experience (education may substitute for some experience).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace.
• Knowledge of clinical education operations.
• Strong organizational, administrative, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of healthcare agencies, clinical practice settings, and community institutions relevant to nursing education.
• Previous experience with clinical placement coordination, onboarding, or healthcare-related program support.
