About the role
Responsibilities
- Mentor nursing students in an inpatient clinical setting, bridging the gap between classroom learning and real-world critical care application.
- Plan clinical experiences and provide direct supervision and evaluation of nursing students.
- Evaluate student performance and provide documented feedback based on course objectives.
- Develop and post written clinical assignments consistent with student knowledge and skill competency.
- Maintain current knowledge of agency and clinical policies, procedures, and expectations.
- Serve as a professional role model for students and staff in areas of collaboration, communication, and excellence.
Requirements
- Master's or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution.
- Unencumbered professional RN nursing license in the state of Minnesota.
- Active BLS certification (American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Military Training Network).
- At least two years of professional RN experience within the last five years.
