Clinical Nursing Faculty

Responsibilities

• Mentor nursing students in an inpatient clinical setting, bridging the gap between classroom learning and real-world critical care application.
• Plan clinical experiences and provide direct supervision and evaluation of nursing students.
• Evaluate student performance and provide documented feedback based on course objectives.
• Develop and post written clinical assignments consistent with student knowledge and skill competency.
• Maintain current knowledge of agency and clinical policies, procedures, and expectations.
• Serve as a professional role model for students and staff in areas of collaboration, communication, and excellence.

Requirements

• Master's or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution.
• Unencumbered professional RN nursing license in the state of Minnesota.
• Active BLS certification (American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Military Training Network).
• At least two years of professional RN experience within the last five years.
