Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) - Behavioral Health

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and update individualized behavioral health treatment plans
• Conduct assessments, evaluations, admissions coordination, and crisis intervention
• Coordinate referrals and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and community agencies
• Evaluate treatment effectiveness and maintain accurate documentation
• Participate in treatment team meetings and program improvement activities

Requirements

• Master's degree
• Current BLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Current active Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license with Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) and Mental Health or Psychiatry specialty
• Ability to work with patients with behavioral or psychiatric conditions
• Ability to meet physical requirements including occasional lifting up to 60+ lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• LICDC (Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor)
• LISW (Licensed Independent Social Worker)
• LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor)
• IMFT (Independent Marriage & Family Therapist)
• NP (Nurse Practitioner with Mental Health or Psychiatry Specialty)
