Clinical Nurse

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, including vital signs and clinical status, in an inpatient oncology setting
• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and institutional policies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized plans of care
• Provide essential patient and family education, support, and care coordination
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record system

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN required)
• Active New York State RN license
• BLS Certification
• Minimum 1.5 years of RN experience
• Experience with EPIC or similar electronic medical record (EMR) systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in Critical Care nursing
• Experience working in a high-acuity step-down or surgical unit
