Clinical Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to hospitalized oncology patients with complex wounds
• Perform detailed assessments and develop treatment plans to optimize wound healing and patient outcomes
• Implement the nursing process for medical and surgical patients requiring intensive monitoring
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to facilitate continuity of care across inpatient and outpatient settings
• Provide education and support to patients and families throughout various stages of treatment

Requirements

• 1.5 - 2 years of Clinical RN experience
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Valid New York State RN License
• BLS Certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Wound, Ostomy, and Continence (WOC) care
• CWON certification or current enrollment in a WOC Education Program
• Experience working in an acute care setting
