Clinical Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing coverage for the Medpace Clinical Pharmacology Unit in accordance with study protocols, SOPs, and Good Clinical Practice
• Perform and document clinical procedures including vital signs, intravenous (IV) insertions, venipunctures, laboratory tests, and electrocardiograms
• Ensure accurate and safe administration and dispensation of medications according to study protocols
• Assess and document adverse events
• Provide end-of-shift reports to ensure continuity of care and adequate follow-up of clinical issues

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Active Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of experience in an acute care environment
• Competence in clinical skills including IV insertion and maintenance, phlebotomy, and performing electrocardiograms
