Clinical Nurse Consultant

Responsibilities

• Provide ventricular medical device case support and patient management in settings such as the ICU, OR, and Cath Lab
• Deliver medical device education to both new and existing accounts within the assigned region
• Perform proactive patient rounds to provide assistance and improve clinical outcomes
• Maintain clinical competency in current product lines through continual learning and education
• Collaborate with the Clinical Support Center (CSC) for ongoing patient and case support
• Manage on-call support requirements as needed

Requirements

• 3+ years of clinical experience in CICU, CVICU, CVOR, or Cath Lab (CVICU experience highly preferred)
• Significant experience with ventricular medical devices, including a minimum of 10 cases or patients supported
• RN or APP license strongly preferred; Perfusionists and cardiovascular specialists are also preferred
• Availability to work a minimum of 5 days per month, including at least one weekend per month
• Ability to work nights, holidays, and weekdays, and travel to various hospital locations
