About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop onboarding classes and simulation lab scenarios for new hires
- Provide educational leadership to enhance specialized patient care
- Collaborate with medical providers and staff to deliver educational curricula
- Assist with clinical skills development and monitor compliance with quality standards
- Educate staff on specialized patient care and the use of new equipment
- Evaluate the efficacy of formal and simulation classes
- Facilitate quarterly preceptor forums for mentoring and feedback
- Participate in clinical process improvement and data collection activities
Requirements
- Associates degree in a healthcare-related field (Bachelors preferred)
- 5 years of work-related experience in home health or a similar setting
- Current CPR certification
- Valid clinical license for the state of practice
- Valid and unrestricted driver’s license
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced clinical skills
- Experience with established clinical and preceptorship models
- Ability to design and develop responsible curricula
