Clinical Manager - Psychotherapy

Responsibilities

• Hold clinical and operational responsibility for an outpatient psychotherapy practice and an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) at a single site.
• Carry a clinical caseload to maintain current and credible clinical judgment.
• Provide clinical and administrative supervision to pre-licensed clinicians.
• Lead the site "pod," serving as a reflective container for the team's clinical experience.
• Protect the fidelity of the systemic, relational, and developmental model across all programs.
• Manage site operations including appraisal, performance development, scheduling, and coverage.
• Ensure compliance with clinic documentation standards, managed-care requirements, and APA Code of Ethics.

Requirements

• Master's or doctoral degree in a mental health profession from an accredited program.
• Full, unrestricted Minnesota mental health licensure (LP, LICSW, LMFT, or LPCC).
• Designation as an approved clinical supervisor with demonstrated supervision competence.
• Demonstrated competence in relational and systemic psychotherapy.
• Demonstrated competence in relational/systemic group therapy and family therapy.
• Capacity to hold both operational authority and a reflective clinical container as distinct functions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior leadership, management, or program responsibility.
• Formal training in child or family therapy.
• BBHT-approved supervisor status.
