About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and supervision to a team of psychological professionals and support staff
- Deliver advanced psychological assessments, formulations, and evidence-based interventions
- Coordinate and manage caseloads, ensuring high standards of care and service delivery
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalised care plans
- Support service development and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with professional standards
- Provide training, mentorship, and support to junior staff and trainees
Requirements
- Doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology (or equivalent)
- HCPC registration
- Proven experience in a Band 6 or senior psychology role
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- Prison clearance
