Clinical Laboratory Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily lab operations, including staffing, scheduling, and sample run management
• Supervise lab staff performing testing and data review to ensure adherence to SOPs and safety procedures
• Lead training for new hires and conduct staff performance reviews
• Document nonconformance reports and assist in completing CAPAs
• Ensure compliance with CLIA/CAP guidelines and regulatory agency requirements
• Act as a liaison between employees and senior management to meet company goals
• Manage employee issues in collaboration with HR and handle administrative tasks like timecard approvals

Requirements

• BS/BA in Medical Technology with 4 years of CLIA laboratory experience, OR
• BS/BA in Physical, Chemical, or Biological Sciences with 5 years of CLIA laboratory experience, OR
• Master’s degree in Chemical, Physical, or Biological Sciences with 3 years of CLIA laboratory experience, OR
• Master’s degree with BS/BA in Medical Technology with 2 years of CLIA laboratory experience
• Current MT/MLS/CLS/MB/MDx certification from ASCP, AMT, or AAB
• Proven leadership experience
• Experience in Molecular Biology
• Strong troubleshooting, pipetting, and data management skills
