Clinical Laboratory Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily lab operations, including staffing, scheduling, and sample run management
• Supervise lab staff performing testing and data review
• Ensure production work meets department goals and adheres to SOPs and safety procedures
• Manage training for new hires and conduct staff performance reviews
• Document nonconformance reports and assist in completing CAPAs
• Maintain compliance with CLIA/CAP guidelines and regulatory agency requirements
• Act as a liaison between employees and senior management
• Handle employee issues in collaboration with HR and management
• Troubleshoot lab issues and escalate concerns appropriately

Requirements

• BS/BA in Medical Technology with 4 years CLIA laboratory experience
• OR BS/BA in Physical, Chemical, or Biological Sciences with 5 years CLIA laboratory experience
• OR Master's degree in Chemical, Physical, or Biological Sciences with 3 years CLIA laboratory experience
• OR Master's degree with BS/BA in Medical Technology with 2 years CLIA laboratory experience
• Current MT/MLS/CLS/MB/MDx certification from ASCP, AMT, or AAB
• Proven leadership experience
• Experience in Molecular Biology
• Strong troubleshooting and pipetting skills
