Clinical Lab Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily lab staff, including coaching, training, and performance reviews
• Manage day-to-day staffing, scheduling, and sample run schedules
• Ensure production work meets department goals and all case samples are processed
• Monitor adherence to SOPs, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Document nonconformance reports and assist in completing CAPAs
• Handle employee issues and collaborate with the Manager on resolutions
• Act as the primary point of contact when the Manager is not present
• Assist the team with day-to-day laboratory work and troubleshooting
• Interact with interdepartmental teams including R&D, Engineering, and Stats

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Medical Technologist or equivalent in a clinical lab
• BS/BA degree in Medical Technology, Biological Sciences, or a related field
• Proven leadership experience
• Proficiency in Molecular Biology, GMP, and QSR
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to visually discern color or evaluate cellular morphology

Preferred Qualifications

• Current MT/MLS/CLS certification from ASCP, AMT, or AAB
