Clinical Lab Operator I

Responsibilities

• Assist in testing of patient samples according to standard operating procedure
• Maintain equipment and instruments in good operating condition, including calibration and expiration checks
• Follow Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) to maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Recognize, document, and escalate protocol deviations or equipment malfunctions
• Maintain sufficient inventory of materials, supplies, and equipment
• Participate in Continuous Improvement Projects such as TAG and 5S
• Handle Protected Health Information (PHI) in compliance with HIPAA regulations

Requirements

• BS/BA in a biological science or a related field
• 0-2 years of industry-related experience
• Ability to visually discern color or evaluate cellular morphology
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and technical skills
• Proficiency in word processing and data management
