Clinical Lab Associate I

Responsibilities

• Assist in testing patient samples according to standard operating procedures
• Maintain updated knowledge of laboratory methods and procedures
• Follow Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) to maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Recognize and escalate equipment malfunctions or protocol deviations
• Communicate effectively with team members and other departments
• Handle Protected Health Information (PHI) in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Assist teammates in completing daily tasks and departmental expectations

Requirements

• BS/BA in biological science or a similar field of study
• 0-2 years of industry-related experience
• Excellent pipetting and data management skills
• Ability to discern color visually or evaluate cellular morphology
• Proficiency in word processing and computer use
• Ability to work various shifts, weekends, and/or overtime
