Clinical Intern/Licensed Clinician

Responsibilities

• Perform psycho-social assessments to determine social service needs, diagnosis, and plan of care
• Evaluate patient data and develop/implement treatment plans
• Work cooperatively as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team
• Complete progress notes and medical record documentation in a timely manner
• Provide individual patient and family therapy and crisis intervention
• Communicate with family members and caretakers regarding patient needs and plans
• Create appropriate discharge plans
• Complete reports for suspected abuse as legally mandated

Requirements

• Master's Degree
• Current Nevada State Clinical Licensure (LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, or Clinical Intern)
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of inpatient clinical work experience
• Experience in diagnosis, psychotherapy, and assessment-based treatment planning
• Experience with therapeutic limit-setting or behavior management modalities
