About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop mutual, collaborative treatment alliances with patients
- Co-facilitate addiction psychotherapy groups in IOP and OP levels of care
- Carry a small caseload after the onboarding period
- Prepare and present addiction/recovery education under clinician supervision
- Engage in case management, assessments, and collaborative treatment planning
- Coordinate care with medical staff, referral sources, and support providers
- Maintain timely documentation that meets state and CARF standards
- Attend weekly clinical treatment team meetings and supervision sessions
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a graduate program requiring a clinical internship
- University affiliation with an MOU (or willingness to establish one) with Kolmac/CCG
- Ability to commute and work in person at a designated clinic location
- Completion of all onboarding, orientation, and assigned clinical training
- Provision of required clearances (background check, immunizations, insurance verification, TB test)
- Strong clinical, verbal, and writing skills
- Schedule allows for attendance at weekly clinical treatment team meetings
