Clinical Instructor

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct educational programs and courses of instruction in accordance with University policies.
• Participate in the planning, review, and quality improvement of educational programs and courses of study.
• Advise students on academic progress and recommend candidates for earned degrees.
• Contribute to the advancement of knowledge through open inquiry, creative activity, and research.
• Participate in the selection, evaluation, and advancement of faculty and academic administrators.
• Engage in service activities as requested or required by the department.

Requirements

• Master's degree or equivalent, or advanced professional board certification in a related field of specialization.
• Licensed physical therapist.
• Demonstrated promise of teaching success and scholarly or artistic achievement.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education at the doctoral level.
• Specialized knowledge or experience in specific areas of the Department of Physical Therapy (DPT) curriculum.
• Previous teaching experience in a higher education setting.
• Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice, equity, and inclusion.
• Ability to integrate culturally responsive practices and knowledge into instructional work.
