Clinical Instructor/Assistant/Associate Professor of Nursing

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses in-person, hybrid, or online formats across the prelicensure curriculum
• Design, develop, and implement student learning activities for didactic, lab, and clinical components
• Supervise and instruct students in clinical settings and simulation labs
• Evaluate student learning and course design content annually
• Collaborate with course faculty to ensure continuity of program outcomes
• Participate in department committees, university service, and student advising
• Support School of Nursing and University events such as orientation and graduation

Requirements

• MSN or Doctoral degree (PhD, DNP) with at least one degree in nursing
• Unencumbered or eligible RN license in the state of Washington
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a related area
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in nursing education
• Clinical experience in adult med-surg, obstetrics, or psychiatric nursing
• Relevant specialty certification

• Competitive salary based on degree: $108,000 for MSN prepared; $128,000 for Doctoral prepared
