Clinical Informatics Intern

Responsibilities

• Participate in the evaluation of data needs for assigned projects alongside analysts
• Contribute to the development of innovative data products and web applications
• Interact with relational data at both study and enterprise levels for querying, wrangling, and reporting
• Contribute to algorithm development for descriptive, classification, and predictive operational purposes
• Support departmental process improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Enrollment in a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral program in informatics, computer science, biomedical engineering, statistics, or a related field
• Programming experience in R or Python
• Strong analytical thinking skills and attention to detail
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively on a sprint schedule and in a full-time, in-person capacity

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SQL
• Experience in application development using Shiny or Streamlit
• Experience in dashboard development using PowerBI, Tableau, or Spotfire
• Previous clinical research experience
