Clinical Fellow in Urogynaecology

Responsibilities

• Guarantee the quality of medical services in the urogynaecology care units
• Conduct urogynaecology, perineology, and urodynamics consultations
• Perform weekly surgical procedures including urinary incontinence and genital prolapse cures
• Coordinate practical activities and diagnostic/therapeutic strategies for patients
• Supervise and train medical interns and trainees
• Participate in pre/post-graduate and continuous training in urogynaecology
• Develop interdisciplinary clinical projects and participate in research projects
• Participate in clinical shifts and supervise gynecological emergencies

Requirements

• Federal medical diploma or MEBEKO-recognized equivalent
• Specialty title in Gynecology and Obstetrics or MEBEKO-recognized equivalent
• Advanced training in operative gynecology (completed or in progress)
• Right to practice in the Canton of Geneva or ability to obtain it
• Experience in gynecology and obstetrics within a Swiss hospital

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional project requiring advanced training for future practice
• At least one year of experience within the HUG gynecology and obstetrics services
• Active research project
