Clinical Faculty

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and didactic theory instruction for the Master’s of Science in Nursing Direct Entry program at the Pleasant Prairie site.
• Deliver excellence in teaching pre-licensure clinical skills, practicum, and theory courses in foundational and medical-surgical nursing practice.
• Facilitate learning in various settings, including small, medium, and large classrooms, as well as online and simulation modalities.
• Conduct clinical instruction within southeastern Wisconsin and northeastern Illinois.
• Commit to continued development in teaching excellence and service to the College, academic community, and the nursing profession.

Requirements

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Clinical expertise in adult medical-surgical care.
• Experience with online teaching appropriate for graduate education and leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD, DNP, or equivalent terminal degree.
• Eligibility for licensure in both Wisconsin and Illinois.
• Certification in nursing education.
• Demonstrated commitment to online graduate teaching and preparing the next generation of nurses for excellence in practice.
