Clinical Education Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Clinical Education with arranging, scheduling, and confirming clinical rotation placements for PA students
• Communicate with clinical sites, preceptors, and healthcare partners to verify rotation availability and logistics
• Support the development and maintenance of clinical site and preceptor databases
• Prepare, collect, and organize required student onboarding documents, including immunizations, background checks, and certifications
• Monitor compliance expiration dates and manage documentation within tracking systems like Typhon
• Serve as a primary point of contact for student questions regarding clinical onboarding and rotation placement
• Maintain accurate electronic and physical records related to clinical education and program accreditation

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
• Experience in administrative or healthcare settings
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Teams
• Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to manage confidential information with high responsibility and professionalism

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in higher education or clinical program support
• Familiarity with clinical education software systems such as Exxat, Typhon, or CastleBranch
• Knowledge of Physician Assistant (PA) program structures and clinical rotation requirements
