Clinical Director

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Executive Director on staffing, interviewing, onboarding, and performance management
• Conduct regular 1:1 supervision, annual reviews, and feedback sessions
• Ensure adherence to evidence-based, harm-reduction, and recovery-oriented care models
• Provide training in Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Trauma-Informed Care
• Monitor clinical outcome KPIs including patient retention and program completion
• Collaborate with compliance teams to maintain CARF and state regulatory readiness
• Support patient crises and provide direct clinical coverage when needed
• Engage in community outreach to strengthen referral networks

Requirements

• Master's degree in a behavioral health-related field (Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, etc.)
• CAC-AD, LCADC, LCPC, LCSW, or LCSW-C licensure in Maryland
• At least 5 years of experience with substance use and co-occurring disorders
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory or management experience in behavioral health
• Board-approved supervisor status in Maryland
• Strong knowledge of CARF standards, state regulations, and DEA requirements
• Proficiency with electronic medical records
