Clinical, Counselling or Forensic Psychologist

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist psychological assessments and therapy to children and young people with severe and enduring mental health needs
• Formulate and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual needs
• Lead psychological input across services, embedding trauma-informed care principles
• Provide consultation, guidance, and supervision to non-psychologist colleagues, trainees, and assistants
• Contribute to service development through research, audit, and teaching
• Work closely within a multi-disciplinary team, maintaining autonomy within professional guidelines

Requirements

• HCPC registration
• Experience working with children and young people, ideally in residential or trauma-informed settings
• Proficiency in psychological formulation and therapeutic delivery across various models
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
