Clinical Coordinator III - NP

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive outpatient care for hepatobiliary and transplant patients, including advanced assessments and diagnostic workups.
• Manage pre- and post-operative care in collaboration with supervising surgeons.
• Perform supervised office-based procedures such as venipuncture, wound care, debridement, and catheter placement.
• Order and interpret laboratory and screening tests relevant to hepatobiliary and transplant evaluations.
• Educate patients, families, and medical staff regarding liver disease and surgical expectations.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for community and internal referring providers to ensure continuity of care.
• Contribute to the development of clinical pathways and the expansion of minimally invasive and robotic surgery programs.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and assist with prior authorizations for medications and procedures.

Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN).
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing or related experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Valid New York State RN and NP Licenses.
• ANCC Board Certification.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Current DEA Certification.
• Ability to perform comprehensive physical examinations and manage a complex patient caseload.
