Clinical Coordinator - Charge Registered Nurse - Dialysis

Responsibilities

• Manage daily clinical decisions and oversee the delivery of safe, effective patient care in a dialysis setting
• Provide guidance, support, and direction to direct patient care staff, including providing feedback for performance evaluations
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, facility procedures, and state/federal regulations
• Coordinate patient care assignments and supervise all documentation of patient information
• Assess patient needs, respond to dialysis treatments, and communicate concerns to rounding physicians
• Train and orient staff members on clinical techniques and facility protocols
• Assume primary responsibility during emergency situations and monitor patient conditions for potential complications
• Educate patients and their families regarding End Stage Renal Disease, dialysis therapy, diet, and medication

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing with a current RN license
• Minimum of 12 months of nursing experience
• Minimum of 6 months of specialized experience providing clinical nursing care to dialysis patients
• Current CPR certification or ability to successfully complete a CPR certification course
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in medical/surgical nursing
• Previous supervisory or management experience in a clinical setting
