Clinical Coordinator - Charge Registered Nurse - Dialysis

Responsibilities

• Manage daily clinical operations and provide guidance, support, and direction to direct patient care staff
• Oversee the delivery of safe, effective, and high-quality dialysis treatments
• Coordinate patient care assignments and supervise all documentation of patient information
• Assess patient needs, respond to treatments, and communicate concerns to rounding physicians
• Train and orient staff while ensuring adherence to facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Participate in patient care plan meetings and monthly Quality Assurance meetings
• Assume primary responsibility in emergency situations and manage shift operations efficiently
• Educate patients and families regarding End Stage Renal Disease, dialysis therapy, diet, and medication

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (R.N.) license to practice in the applicable state
• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
• Minimum of 12 months of nursing experience
• Minimum of 6 months of specialized experience providing clinical nursing care to dialysis patients
• Current CPR certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in medical/surgical nursing
• Previous supervisory or management experience
