Clinical Coordinator - Charge Registered Nurse - Dialysis

Responsibilities

• Act as the hemodialysis team leader, providing day-to-day direction, supervision, and clinical care for patients undergoing chronic hemodialysis.
• Provide guidance and support to direct patient care staff, including providing feedback for annual performance evaluations.
• Coordinate patient care plans by communicating with physicians and other healthcare team members.
• Manage shift operations, including assessing daily patient needs and developing appropriate staff assignments.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, facility procedures, and state/federal regulations.
• Oversee the safe and effective use of all medical equipment and supervise the documentation of patient information.
• Train and orient new staff members and act as a subject matter expert for the clinical team.
• Assume primary responsibility during emergency situations and monitor patients for potential complications.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing (R.N.).
• Registered and licensed to practice in the applicable state.
• Minimum of 9 months of nursing experience.
• Minimum of 3 months of specialized dialysis clinical nursing experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in medical/surgical nursing.
• Previous supervisory or management experience in a clinical setting.
