Clinical Coordinator - Charge Registered Nurse - Dialysis

Responsibilities

• Manage daily clinical decisions to ensure continuity of care and maintain patient and staff safety.
• Provide day-to-day guidance, support, and direction to direct patient care staff.
• Oversee the delivery of safe, effective, and quality patient outcomes in a dialysis setting.
• Assess daily patient care needs and develop appropriate patient care assignments.
• Supervise all documentation of patient information and ensure compliance with facility policies.
• Respond to dialysis treatments, communicate concerns to rounding physicians, and implement changes in treatment as directed.
• Train and orient staff, and act as a subject matter expert and resource for the clinical team.
• Ensure compliance with all company procedures, state regulations, and federal agency requirements.
• Assume primary responsibility during emergency situations.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing (R.N.).
• Registered and licensed to practice in the applicable state.
• Minimum of 12 months of nursing experience.
• Minimum of 6 months of specialized dialysis nursing experience (chronic or acute setting).
• Current CPR certification or ability to successfully complete a CPR certification course.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in medical/surgical nursing.
• Previous supervisory or management experience.
