Clinical Coordinator - Charge Registered Nurse - Dialysis

Responsibilities

• Manage daily clinical decisions to ensure continuity of care and maintain patient and staff safety
• Provide guidance, support, and direction to direct patient care staff
• Oversee the delivery of safe, effective, and quality patient outcomes in a dialysis setting
• Assess daily patient care needs and develop appropriate patient care assignments
• Supervise all documentation of patient information and participate in care plan meetings
• Monitor and supervise patient care activity during dialysis treatments
• Administer medications per physician orders and respond to dialysis treatments
• Train and orient staff while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Assume primary responsibility in emergency situations

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing with a current RN license
• Minimum of 12 months of nursing experience
• Minimum of 6 months of specialized experience providing clinical nursing care to dialysis patients
• CPR certification
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in medical/surgical nursing
• Previous supervisory or management experience
