Clinical Coordinator - Charge Registered Nurse - Dialysis

Responsibilities

• Manage daily clinical decisions and oversee patient care staff to ensure continuity of care and safety
• Provide guidance, support, and direction to direct patient care staff, including formal feedback for performance evaluations
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, facility procedures, and state/federal regulations
• Assess daily patient care needs and develop appropriate patient care assignments
• Monitor and supervise all patient care activity during dialysis treatments
• Respond to dialysis treatments, communicate concerns to rounding physicians, and implement changes in treatment as directed
• Administer medications to patients per physician orders and supervise the completion of care plans
• Train and orient staff and act as a subject matter expert and resource for the team
• Maintain safe and efficient shift operations, including emergency response and equipment oversight

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing (R.N.)
• Registered and licensed to practice in the applicable State
• Minimum 12 months of nursing experience
• Minimum 6 months of specialized dialysis nursing experience
• Current CPR certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in medical/surgical nursing
• Previous supervisory or management experience
