Clinical Coordinator - Charge Registered Nurse - Dialysis

Responsibilities

• Manage daily clinical operations and ensure continuity of care to maintain patient and staff safety
• Provide guidance, support, and direction to direct patient care staff, including providing feedback for performance evaluations
• Oversee the delivery of safe, effective, and quality patient outcomes in a dialysis setting
• Assess daily patient care needs and develop appropriate patient care assignments
• Supervise all documentation of patient information and ensure compliance with company policies and state/federal regulations
• Act as a subject matter expert and resource for staff members
• Assume primary responsibility in emergency situations and respond to dialysis treatments
• Coordinate with the Home Program Manager to discuss personnel and patient care status
• Educate patients and families regarding End Stage Renal Disease, dialysis therapy, diet, and medication

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the applicable state
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Minimum of 12 months of nursing experience
• Minimum of 6 months of specialized clinical nursing experience with dialysis patients
• Current CPR certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in medical/surgical nursing
• Previous supervisory or management experience
