About the role
Responsibilities
- Facilitate effective management of clinical activities and coordinate patient care across the continuum
- Perform direct patient care responsibilities and administrative duties
- Provide teaching and educational support to individuals and groups
- Participate actively in Quality Improvement initiatives
- Engage in academic and research activities and projects
- Apply specialized nursing knowledge to ensure continuity in patient care management
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
- Current licensure/certificate of competency from the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (B.C.L.S.) Level II Rescuer certification
- Up to 3 years of relevant experience, including advanced practice roles
- Computer literacy
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team or independently
Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of a recognized Master's degree in nursing
- Previous experience in Transplant nursing
- Experience in research activities
