About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage clinical activities and coordinate patient care across the continuum to ensure continuity of care
- Perform direct patient care responsibilities and clinical duties
- Provide teaching and educational support to individuals and groups
- Participate actively in Quality Improvement initiatives
- Engage in academic and research activities and projects
- Handle administrative responsibilities and other cross-functional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing
- Current licensure/certificate of competency from the College of Nurses of Ontario
- BCLS Level II Rescuer certification
- Up to 3 years of relevant experience, including experience in an advanced practice role
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, and time management abilities
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
- Computer literacy and ability to work in a self-directed manner
Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of a recognized Master's degree in nursing
- Previous experience in Transplant nursing
- Experience in research activities
