About the role

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate effective management of clinical activities and coordinate patient care across the continuum of care.
  • Apply specialized nursing knowledge and recent advances in practice to ensure continuity in patient care management.
  • Perform direct patient care responsibilities and provide teaching and educational support.
  • Participate actively in Quality Improvement initiatives, academic activities, and research projects.
  • Execute administrative duties and other cross-functional tasks consistent with the job classification.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing.
  • Current licensure/certificate of competency from the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
  • Completion of Basic Cardiac Life Support (B.C.L.S.) Level II Rescuer certification.
  • Up to 3 years of relevant experience, including experience in an advanced practice role.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team or independently in a self-directed manner.
  • Computer literacy and excellent decision-making skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Completion of a recognized Master's degree in nursing.
  • Previous experience in Transplant nursing.
  • Experience in research activities.
