About the role
Responsibilities
- Facilitate effective management of clinical activities and coordinate patient care across the continuum of care.
- Apply specialized nursing knowledge and recent advances in practice to ensure continuity in patient care management.
- Perform direct patient care responsibilities and provide teaching and educational support.
- Participate actively in Quality Improvement initiatives, academic activities, and research projects.
- Execute administrative duties and other cross-functional tasks consistent with the job classification.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing.
- Current licensure/certificate of competency from the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
- Completion of Basic Cardiac Life Support (B.C.L.S.) Level II Rescuer certification.
- Up to 3 years of relevant experience, including experience in an advanced practice role.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team or independently in a self-directed manner.
- Computer literacy and excellent decision-making skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of a recognized Master's degree in nursing.
- Previous experience in Transplant nursing.
- Experience in research activities.
