About the role

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate effective management of clinical activities and coordinate patient care across the continuum
  • Perform direct patient care responsibilities and administrative duties
  • Provide teaching and educational support to individuals and groups
  • Participate actively in Quality Improvement initiatives
  • Engage in academic and research activities and projects
  • Apply specialized nursing knowledge and expertise to ensure continuity in patient care management

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing
  • Current licensure (Certificate of competency) from the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
  • Completion of Basic Cardiac Life Support (B.C.L.S.) Level II Rescuer certification
  • Up to 3 years of relevant experience, including advanced practice roles
  • Computer literacy
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team or independently

Preferred Qualifications

  • Completion of a recognized Master's degree in nursing
  • Previous experience in Transplant nursing
  • Experience in research activities
