About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide ventricular medical device case support, including on-call support
- Deliver medical device education to patients and staff in settings such as the ICU, OR, and Cath Lab
- Perform proactive patient rounds to provide assistance and improve outcomes
- Maintain clinical competency in current product lines and patient management through continual learning
- Collaborate with the Clinical Support Center (CSC) for ongoing assistance
- Acquire and demonstrate working knowledge of products and therapies
Requirements
- 3+ years of clinical experience in CICU, CVICU, CVOR, or Cath Lab
- Significant experience with ventricular medical devices (minimum of 10 cases/patients supported)
- RN or APP license strongly preferred; Perfusionists and cardiovascular specialists are also preferred
- Availability for at least 5 days per month, including at least one weekend per month
- Ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays
- Ability to travel to various hospital locations within the assigned region
