Clinical Consultant

Responsibilities

• Provide ventricular medical device case support, including on-call support, in settings such as the ICU, OR, and Cath Lab
• Deliver medical device education to improve patient outcomes for new and existing accounts
• Complete proactive patient rounds to provide assistance and support
• Maintain clinical competency in current product lines and patient management through continual learning
• Collaborate with the Clinical Support Center (CSC) for ongoing assistance as needed

Requirements

• 3+ years of clinical experience in CICU, CVICU, CVOR, or Cath Lab (CVICU experience highly preferred)
• Significant experience with ventricular medical devices (minimum of 10 cases/patients supported)
• Availability for at least 5 days per month, including at least one weekend per month
• Ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays, as well as at various hospital locations
• Ability to travel as needed within the assigned region

Preferred Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Provider (APP) license
• Experience as a Perfusionist or Cardiovascular Specialist
• Previous industry experience
