Clinical Consultant

Responsibilities

• Provide ventricular medical device case support, including on-call support, in settings such as the ICU, OR, and Cath Lab
• Deliver medical device education to both new and existing accounts to improve patient outcomes
• Perform proactive patient rounds to provide assistance and support
• Maintain clinical competency in current product lines and stay updated on relevant medical information
• Collaborate with the Clinical Support Center (CSC) for ongoing assistance as needed
• Demonstrate working knowledge of products, therapies, and their clinical applications

Requirements

• 3+ years of clinical experience in CICU, CVICU, CVOR, or Cath Lab (CVICU experience highly preferred)
• Significant experience with ventricular medical devices, including a minimum of 10 cases/patients supported
• Availability to work a minimum of 5 days per month, including at least 1 weekend per month
• Ability to work nights, holidays, and weekends
• Ability to work at various hospital locations outside of the base location

Preferred Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Provider (APP) license
• Experience as a Perfusionist or Cardiovascular Specialist
• Previous experience working within the medical device industry
