Clinical Consultant

Responsibilities

• Provide ventricular medical device case support and on-call assistance
• Deliver medical device education to healthcare providers in settings such as the ICU, OR, and Cath Lab
• Perform proactive patient rounds to provide support and assistance
• Maintain clinical competency in current product lines and patient management through continual learning
• Collaborate with the Clinical Support Center (CSC) for ongoing assistance
• Demonstrate working knowledge of products and therapies to improve patient outcomes

Requirements

• 3+ years of clinical experience in CICU, CVICU, CVOR, or Cath Lab
• Significant experience with ventricular medical devices (minimum of 10 cases/patients supported)
• RN or APP license strongly preferred; Perfusionists and cardiovascular specialists are also preferred
• Availability for at least 5 days per month, including at least one weekend per month
• Ability to work nights, holidays, and weekdays as needed
• Ability to travel to various hospital locations aside from the base location
